The franco-manitobains are the Francophone S of the Canadian province of the Manitoba.
There are 47.560 French-speaking people in Manitoba.
Distribution
90% of the franco-manitobains live in the area of Winnipeg, in majority in the traditionally French-speaking districts: Saint-Boniface, Saint-Vital and Saint-Norbert.
There exist in addition bilingual communities distributed in the remainder of the province. They met within the Association of the bilingual municipalities of Manitoba (AMBM).
