Franck Martin (born the July 3rd 1955) is a journalist and politician French.

He is the son of Ernest Martin, mayor of Louviers of 1965 to 1969. After having worked in many manual fields, Franck Martin becomes journalist in the local newspaper the Dispatch of Louviers of 1980 to 1994. He leaves the Dispatch in 1994 when this company was repurchased by the group Harrowing.

In 1994, Franck Martin launches out in the policy by setting up a list of union of the left at the local elections of Louviers. This list, without label partisane, beats the line directed by Odile Proust, the former mayor.

Elected official general adviser in 1994, re-elected in 2000, he becomes vice-president of the general advice in 2001 when the union of the left carried Jean-Louis Destans (PS) to the head of the general advice of the Eure.

Since 2004, it chairs the economic development agency of the Eure (the Eure expansion).
Franck Martin is the principal instigator of the creation of the Community of agglomeration the Seine-Eure (BOX) in 2000 with the communes of Incarville and Valley-with-Reuil first of all. The BOX with competence employment. The SODEVIL, the economic service of the Agglomeration, work with the dynamism of a rich basin of 26.000 employment. It contributes to the development of the pole of drug companies called “Pharmaparc”.

Franck Martin occupies the armchair of mayor that Pierre Mendès France occupied starting from 1936. Sensitive to this great republican figure, Franck Martin adheres to the Radical left party in order to fall under the social line of the republican Radicalisme. He finds there at the same time the defense of the missions of the Welfare state but also the valorization of the spirit of initiative.

In 2004, it creates its company of edition “Anchors of navy”.

Franck Martin presents himself to the legislative elections of June 2007 and obtains 4,6% of the votes cast.
