Franck Langolff , of his true name Henri-Alain Langloff , was a type-setter of music French born in 1949 and deceased with Rouen the September 8th 2006, at the 57 years age.
It is born with Fes, with the Morocco, in 1949 before leaving to live Canteleu in 1958 and starts to learn the Harmonica then the Electric guitar and the low Guitare a few years later.
It starts its career in the Années 1960 as a bass player and an especially composer-songwriter of some regional groups (the Vikings, Flamingoes, Punch or Tuesday under the Rain…). But it is with the group Rouen are born Tuesday under the Rain which it obtains a transitory success in the beginning of the Années 1970 with their individual: Go down in the street . It composed two albums of which Normal in 1986 on which figure a title that Florent Pagny will begin again later: Kills to me .
In the years 1970, it goes up to Paris, where he becomes the friend of the singer Renaud for whom he composes several successes such as Morgane of you or Morts the children .
In 1985, it composes a disc for the actress Sophie Marceau with Etienne Roda-Gil when Didier Pain comes to introduce his/her niece Vanessa Paradis to him. For it, he writes the music of Joe the taxi , the tube which launched the career of Vanessa Paradis and which was sold to several million specimens. It was its greater success.
Thereafter, it composes a complete album with Serge Gainsbourg.
He also collaborated with Alain Souchon, Johnny Hallyday, Patricia Kaas, Yannick Noah, Garou, Isabelle Boulay, Melissa Mars…
He dies in 2006 following complications of a Lung cancer.
