Franck Burty-Haviland (1878-1972) is above all Artist-painter cubist (near to Picasso). It signs Franck Burty then, of the name of his mother.

Biography

In 1875, Leon Madesclaire makes build a workshop of decoration on Porcelaine which is acquired in 1909 by Franck Burty-Haviland, wire of porcelain the Charles Haviland.

It is in 1950 that Pierre Brune and Franck Burty-Haviland creates the museum of Modern art of Céret, inviting to the passage the artists who attended the city to make gift of some works. Picasso will offer of them 53 and Matisse will leave 14 drawings. Many others will imitate them.
