Francisque Poulbot

Francisque Poulbot , poster artist, draftsman and illustrator French.

It created the famous " poulbot" of Montmartre, by observing the children of the famous Parisian hillock.

Born the February 6th 1879 with Saint-Denis, close to Paris, parents teachers, it settles with Montmartre and creates in 1921 the " Republic of Montmartre " with his/her friends Adolphe Open Willette, and Maurice Neumont. In 1914, it marries Léona Ondernard.

He dies in Paris the September 16th 1946.
