Francisco Umbral

Francisco Umbral of its true name Francisco Perez Martinez, (born the May 11th 1935 with Madrid and dead the August 28th 2007 with Madrid of a cardiorespiratory stop), is a writer and Spanish journalist .

Biography

Autodidact at the height character, it is regarded as one of the contemporary Spanish great writers.

He is initially protected by the writer Miguel Delibes before initiating itself with journalism. Working for the regional newspaper Norte de Castilla since 1958, it settles in Madrid with the beginning of the year 1960 then written for several periodicals. He was incinerated with the cemetery of Almudena.
