Francisco Gento is old a Football Spanish or, born the October 21st 1933 with Guarnizo (Spain). He played as a left winger in the team of the Real Madrid and in the team of Spain. He has one of the most beautiful prize lists of all times. He gained six times the Ligue of the champions (a record) and 12 times the Championnat of Spain of football.

Gento holds the record of competitions gained in Ligue of the Champions (6) and the record of seasons played with the Real Madrid (18).

It disputed 428 matches in the “Liga” (Championnat of Spain of football) with the Real Madrid and marked 126 goals (on the whole 605 matches and 181 goals, all confused competitions). It is sixth with the classification of the best strikers of all times of the Real Madrid.

He played 95 matches in European competitions and marked 30 goals.

In national team

Gento had 43 selections in the team of Spain, with 23 marked victories and 5 goals.

It had its first selection in May 1955, at the time of a match against the team of England, and its last selection in October 1969.

It took part in the Football world cup of 1962 and the Football world cup of 1966, playing on the whole five matches of world cup.

… But especially it was champion of Europe of the Nations (only Spanish major title seniors) in 1964!

It was also selected in the team of the FIFA in 1963.
