Francisco Ayala (born the March 16th 1906 with Grenade -) is an academic and Spanish writer .
Biography
Francisco Ayala studied with Madrid then with Berlin, before beginning a university career. Friend of the President of the Republic Manual Azaña, it must exile himself after the advent of the Franquisme, in Argentine, then with Puerto Rico and the the United States. He will return in Spain only starting from 1960.
With the length of its very long career, Francisco Ayala wrote many tests (of which the Histoire of freedom in 1943), novels and books of memories. It obtained the Prix Cervantes which distinguishes the best writers from Spanish language, in 1991.
