Francis Xavier Atencio , born in 1920 with Walsenburg Colorado, more known under the name X Atencio , is an old organizer, type-setter and Imagineer of the Walt Disney Company.

Biography

Atencio enters to the studios of animation of Walt Disney Pictures into 11938 as intervallist for He worked in the studios of animation of Walt Disney Pictures of 1938 with 1965, year when he integrated WED Entreprises in order to help with the design of the decorations of the diorama Primeval World of the Disneyland Railroad. He contributed then to the design of several attractions:

• For Pirate off the Caribbean, it wrote the script whose song " celebrates it; Yo Ho (has Pirate' S Life for Me) " and gave its voice to the head of pirate of the entry.
• worked on Adventure Thru Inner Space
• For Haunted Mansion it wrote the script of Haunted Mansion of which the musical topic " Grim Grinning Ghosts" and gave its voice to the sound advertisement of temporary interruption of attraction (in Disneyland only) - Playful spooks cuts interrupted our turn… please remain seated in your Doom Buggies.

It taken its retirement of the Walt Disney Company in 1984 and was named " Disney Legend " in 1996.
