Francis Van Bossuit
Francis Van Bossuit is a sculptor of art Bruxellois. It was born in 1635 with Brussels and died in 1692 with Amsterdam.
Biography
After its training with Brussels, it reaches the control with Antwerp.Towards 1655 - 1660, it leaves for Italy, where it works with Balthazar Permozer with the Academy of Florence and attends the group of Dutch Bentvogels. It settles during many years with Rome where it is carried out many copies of ancient statues.
Of return to the Netherlands in company of the painter Bonaventure van Overbeke, it is established with Amsterdam where it will remain there until his death in 1692.
