Francis Trevelyan Buckland

Francis Trevelyan Buckland is a British Zoologiste , born December 17th 1826 with Oxford and dead the December 19th 1880 in this same city. Buckland is one of the initiators of modern pisciculture.
He is the son of the geologist and paleontologist William Buckland (1784-1856) and of Mary born Morland. He obtains sound Bachelor off Arts with Christ College of Oxford in 1848. He studies the Chirurgie at the hospital St George of London of 1848 with 1851. Starting from 1854, it officiates as military surgeon.
Of 1867 with 1880, he is inspector of the piscicultural breedings of Saumon. Buckland publishes very many reports on the breedings of Poisson S and seafood. It founds the review Land and Water in 1866.
He is also the author of Curiosities in Natural History (1857-1872), Fish Hatching (1863), Logbook off has Fisherman and Zoologist (1875), Natural History off British Fishes (1881) and Notes and Jottings from Animal Life (1882).
It is a savage adversary of Charles Darwin (1809-1882).
