Francis Martens
Francis Martens is a psychologist, psychoanalyst and Belgian anthropologist .
He is particularly interested in the Anthropologie Judaïsme like with that of the Racisme and the Antisémitisme. He in particular stuck to the study of the kashrout (normative religious rules as regards food), and to that of the universal bases of the xenophobia and the figure of the scapegoat. He took part for this reason in the volume of homage to Leon Poliakov: “Racism: myths and sciences” (editions Complex).
It joined actively, a few years ago, with the Call to vigilance launched by some French intellectuals, and who aimed at warning against the vulgarizing of the remarks negationnists.
