The plants appeared well before the men and the animals in general and they will certainly survive to them. Indeed, the animals (of which the man) need the plants to live (food, environment, etc) whereas the majority of the plants can do without the animals very well.
In its book Plea for the tree appeared in 2005, Francis Hallé presents all that the tree brings to the man and car the portrait of remarkable species like, for example, the Durian, the Eucalyptus or the Hévéa.
