Francis Lorentz , born in 1942, is leading French of company in the field of information the Technologies and the communication.
He chaired the mission for the development of the E-business near the Minister for the Economy and Finances, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, as from October 1997 and had the results of this mission in May 1998.
He was also professor of economy to the university Paris-Dauphine of 1995 to 2000.
He chairs since 2000, to replace Marc Tessier, the IDATE (Institute of audio-visual and telecommunications in Europe), one of the principal centers of studies and council in Europe specialized in the analysis of the sectors of communication and information technologies and is associated within a consultancy in strategy and fusion-acquisition (Lorentz, Deschamps and Associés).
