Francis Henry Taylor (1903 with Philadelphia - 1957 with Worcester (Massachusetts)) was preserving Philadelphia Museum off Art, then directing of the Worcester Art Museum of the Massachusetts, before joining the Metropolitan Museum off Art as director of 1940 with 1955. During its last years with Philadelphia, he is editor of the publications of the museum and fact of the noticed installations of medieval art in the new building.

In 1931, it is named director of the Worcester Museum off Art with Worcester (Massachusetts). This museum with a teaching long tradition that Taylor perpetuates.
