Burning exégète of the acousmatic method, its work is, since 1963, exclusively made up of parts on support which testify to an constant interest for a morphological writing and ambiguities between the sound and the image that it can cause.

It ensured the direction of special issues the editions Musiques & Recherches (Belgium) and of “Quebec Electroacoustic: rise” - for the review Circuit (Montreal). Musical Coresponsable of the Dictionary of media arts (published by UQAM), he is also lecturer and carried out several emissions for Radio-Canada and Radio-France.
