Francis Delpérée (born with Liege the January 14th 1942) is Doctor in right universities of Leuwen (UCL) and of Paris, constitutional law professor with UCL and Belgian senator.
Member corresponding of the Institute of France (Academy of Science morals and political, section of legislation, right public and jurisprudence) and of the royal Academy of Belgium since 1998, it is also Honorary doctor universities of Aix-en-Provence, of Geneva, Ottawa, Szeged and Athens.
Since 2004, it is senator of community, appointed of Brussels and appointed the French Community of Belgium. With the Senate, he is vice-president of the Commission of the institutional affairs as well as Commission of control of expense electoral and compatibility of the political parties. He is also Member of the Commission of the Interior matters. Since 2006, it is to advise communal in its commune of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre.
In June 2007, he is candidate with the legislative elections and takes along the list of the cdH for the Senate. It obtains 109.399 votes and is thus re-elected senator.
In 1993, King Baudouin in particular granted concession of nobility to him and the personal capacity of baron.
