Francis Bardot is a Ténor and Chef of chorus French born in 1946.
Francis Bardot is one of the outstanding personalities of the musical world of the Chorale S and the Oratorio. Child, it was maîtrisien and accepted his training of his Master, Philippe Debat. Since 1970, it undertook throughout the world a teaching work in the field of the choir singing and the training of soloists children. Founder and director during more than twenty years of the Control of the Hauts-de-Seine with which he was probably his greater musical successes, he animated the Maîtrise Cathédrale of Chartres, the Control of Burgundy and the Control of Paris-Saint-Germain-of-Meadows. He was responsible for the choruses of children of the Opéra for Paris during twenty and one years. The Orchestra of Paris and its chief of chorus, Arthur Oldham, also called upon him. Currently, Francis Bardot is director of the Conservatoire Maurice Ravel and of the cultural affairs of the town of Levallois-Perret. It directs three choruses: “Young Chorus of Ile-de-France”, the " Chorus of children of Island-of-France" and the “Polyphonic Chorus Maurice Ravel”. The two first often meet under the name of " Choruses Francis Bardot".
In 2005, it was promoted knight of the Légion of honor. The ceremony was chaired by Line Renaud the town hall of Levallois-Perret.Il is also cofounder of the European Federation of the Choruses of the Union which was founded in 1999 in the European Parliament of Brussels.
Since the creation of its first choral societies, Francis Bardot carried out with them rounds in the whole world, from Bucharest to Tokyo, while passing by the Greek islands, the Middle East, South Africa and the United States in their major part. Today still, many are those which followed it in its career, from one choral society to another, not being able to untie genius teaching and interpretative it knew to make proof all these years.
