Francis Ballard is a British Botaniste , born the March 18th 1896 with London and dead the January 25th 1975 with Chiswick.

It obtains its Bachelor off Sciences in London in 1927 and becomes assistant with the herbarium of Kew Garden in 1929. He becomes specialist in the Ptéridophyte S.
