Francine de Selve

Francine de Selve is a writer, born the March 15th 1920 with Paris. It was ten nine years old when the German army entered to France. It was then in Franche-Comté and immediately engaged as teacher at the elementary school of a small village close to Gray in the High Saone. It is this experiment which inspired the history told in " to him; The house of Batiou". Just after the war, while melting a family of three children, Francine de Selve continued its trade of teaching, initially as teacher, then as professor of French and History. It finished its career in teaching as documentalist with the teaching National center of documentation (CNDP), 29 rue d'Ulm in Paris, 75005. Francine de Selve died the December 20th 2002 in Paris, at the 82 years age.

His/her oldest son, Jean-Pierre Lamb of Selve, specialist recognized in the world in oil industry, gets busy to preserve and promote the work of Francine de Selve, witness sensitive of his time for the youth of today.
