Francine Lalonde (born the August 24th 1940) is teaching, trade unionist and political woman Québécois; she is currently Député E with the House of Commons of Canada, representing the district of Point-in-the Island under the banner of the Québécois Bloc.

In 1985, Lalonde was Minister for the female condition in the cabinet of the Prime Minister Rene Lévesque. One not being elected, it was presented in the district of Bertrand against Robert Bourassa which tried a return to the National Assembly of Quebec. Having been beaten, she resigned of her post of minister.

In June 2005, Lalonde introduced at the Parliament the C-407 bill which aimed at legalizing the Suicide assisted in Canada. Re-elected in January 2006, Lalonde has promised to reintroduce its bill.
