Francine Chantereau

Francine Chantereau is a singer and a chorus-singer, known to have been dancer and chorus-singer of Claude François within the Darts, and of the stimulating-singer Dorothée.

The career of Francine Chantereau begins in 1968 when it forms with Martine Latorre, Catherine Welch and Dominique Poulain, the " group; Flechettes" baptized thus name of the recording company of Claude " Flèche". They then train the chorus-singers and dancers of Claude Francois, joined thereafter by famous the " Claudettes". They also record a disc. At the end of their collaboration with Claude François in 1977, they disperse to put at the service various singers (Jean-Jacques Goldman, Nana Mouskouri, Mireille Mathieu, C.Jérome, Joe Dasssin).

In 1986, they are reformed under the pseudonym of " Cocktail chic" and interpret “European” with the Eurovision contest.

The true turning in the career of Francine will take place in the years 1990 with the appearance of the Club Dorothée on TF1. Indeed, Jean-Luc Azoulay, producer of the Club Dorothée propose to him to record several credits of cartoons diffused in the Club Dorothée. Moreover since 1992, it will be present every Wednesday afternoon at the antenna of the Club Dorothée at the sides of Martine Latorre to accompany Dorothée or to sing the musical interludes of the Club Dorothée.
