Franciade Fleurus Duvivier , French major general, born the July 7th 1794, with Rouen.

It entered to the Polytechnic school (X1812 Promotion) in 1812; it took share made its first weapons in 1814 with the defense of Paris against the allies which encircled Paris, it was quartermaster-sergeant and ordered a section of eight parts. Left the School the second day of its promotion, it passed to the École of application of Metz. With leaving this School he became successively lieutenant, captain, chief of the Corsica genious in , with the Îles of Hyères, Saint-Pierre (Martinique).

In 1830, it followed the Expédition of Algiers as captain of the genious and was named ordering one of the two battalions of Zouave S, one incorporated in it the 5.000 Parisian volunteers who arrived of the barricades. The commander Duvivier was charged to discipline them. It was later the 67e of line. With them, in 1831, Duvivier covered the retirement of the French troops to the Expédition of Médéah. Henri-Alexandre Frère gave a Biographie of Duvivier, crowned by the Académie of Rouen. C. Mullié indicates that the Duvivier general was the Paul-Louis Courier army , one had called it the general with Pamphlet S .
