Biography

Born Stanislaus Pascal Franchot Thunders , it is the junior by Dr. Frank Jerome Tone, president of Company Carborundum, and his wife, Gertrude Franchot. Of Québécois ascent , Irish, English and Basque, it was related to the Irish revolutionist Theobald Wolfe Tone.

Ton studied with the Université Cornell where he was President of the Club Dramatic and elected with the Sphinx Head Society. It gave up the family company for a career of actor to the theater.
