Francesco Zucchi , brother of Jacopo Zucchi and its pupil, worked initially under its direction.

It succeeded in rather well painting the flowers and the fruits, but it could never rise with great compositions.

After the death of his brother, it gave up painting to apply to the mosaic, kind in which it was made famous. It is with him that one owes the beautiful mosaics of the cupola of, that it carried out on the drawings of Joseph Cesari d' Arpino, more known under the name of Josepin. Zucchi died towards 1620.
