Francesco Smalto

Francesco Smalto is an Italian dressmaker born the November 5th 1927 in Calabria.

Biography

Francesco Smalto has very young the passion of the cut and the fabric. It begins its training while following courses in a school of State. At only 14 years, it creates its first costume for a family friend. Quickly, its ambition is to leave to the conquest Paris. He works then at Christiani then at Camps which, at the time is the tailor of the “Paris Whole”.
