Francesco Morosini

Francesco Morosini (born the February 26th 1619 with Venice - died the January 6th 1694 with Nauplia, a town of Greece, along the coast of the Peloponnese) was the 108e Doge de Venise. Elected official in 1688, his dogat lasts until in 1694.

Biography

August 1st Francesco Morosini reconquered the Peloponnese for Venice in 1686 and took Athens in 1687.
