Francesco Morone (Vérone, Ca 1471 - May 16th, 1529) is an Italian painter of the Italian Renaissance, the son of Domenico Morone.

Biography

Wire and raises of Domenico Morone, it is clearly influenced by works of Giovanni Bellini, Antonello da Messina and Andrea Mantegna, as it is obvious on its Crucifixion (signed and gone back to 1498) of the church San Bernardino in Vérone.

In the following years its style is softened, while approaching the vaguely léonardesque style of Francesco Bonsignori (as in its two versions of the Vierge to the Child with the art gallery of Brera and the National Gallery of London, in Samson and Dalila of the museum Poldi Pezzoli or in paintings with fresco of Holy Claire with Vérone).
