Francesco Maria Rondani

Francesco Maria Rondani (Parma, July 15th 1490 - Parma, September 1550) is a painter mannerist Italy N of the school of Parma.

Perhaps raises Corrège, it worked with its Master Parmigianino and Anselmi with the frescos in the church of San Giovanni Evangelista of 1520 with 1523 and in 1525 with the restorations of another church parmesane, the Madonna della Steccata .

Between 1527 and 1531 it decorated the Centoni vault in the Dome with Parma with the monochromic frescos of the Scènes of the life of saint Antoine , the Ecce homo and the capture of Christ , in style mannerist.

Towards 1531, in collaboration with Anselmi, it decorated the ceiling with the vault Del Bono, by representing the Our Heavenly Father .

In 1532, it took part in decorations to celebrate the arrival in Parma of the emperor Charles V and it painted with Anselmi the ceiling of the Oratory of the Design of the church parmesane of San Francesco. In 1550, it worked with decorations for the marriage of Marguerite of Austria with the duke of Parma, Ottavio Farnese.
