Francesco I Ordelaffi , (born about 1300 - died in 1332) - also known under the name of Cecco I - is noble Italian who lived at the 14th century, it belongs to the family of the Ordelaffi of the town of Forli
Wire of Teobaldo Ordelaffi, he is the brother of Scarpetta Ordelaffi which he succeeded like lord of Forli until its ousting of the city by the papal armies in 1331.
He consolidated the domination of the family Ordelaffi on the town of Forli, while resting on the Gibelins of which he became one of the chiefs.
According to various sources, it accepted Dante Alighieri in 1316 with Forli at the time of the third stay of Dante in this city, after its preceding stays in 1302-1303 and 1310-1311.
In 1323, it supported Guido Tarlati lord of Arezzo in its conquest of the town of Città di Castello.
At that time the Ordelaffi with their town of Forlì and the Tarlati with their town of Arezzo belonged to the league gibeline just like the towns of Osimo, of Cagli, Urbino, San Marino and the counts of Montefeltro, Ghiaggiolo and Faggiolani.
