For the painter and sculptor born in 1955, to see: Francesco Gallo (INIS)
Francesco Gallo , born on November 6th, 1672 with Mondovì, dead on June 20th, 1750 is an architect Piedmontese Baroque (area of Italy).
He was as much topographer, military engineer and hydraulics (its preferred material was the brick).
One particularly owes him the monumental elliptic cupola of the Sanctuaire of Vicoforte, close to Mondovì, as well as the small temple, the tempietto del Pilone inside.
