François Casanova , born parents Venetian S with London the June 7th 1727 and died the July 8th 1803 with Brühl, is a painter battles Italy N.
Brother of Giacomo Casanova, it was formed with Paris under Charles Parrocel, and was accepted there in 1763 member of the Académie of painting, then remained with Dresden, Vienna and Brühl close to Vienna, where he died in 1805.
Its principal tables are those in which it represented the battles gained by the Prince de Condé, and those which it carried out for the empress Catherine II of Russia, representing the victories gained by the Russians over the Turks.
