Francesco Berni

Francesco Berni , born with Lamporecchio (Tuscan) towards 1497 and died in Florence the May 26th 1535, is a writer and poet Italy N. Its poems burlesques gave rise to the “bernesque” kind.

Biography

Having taken the clerical dress, he becomes secretary of Lorenzo Ghiberti, bishop of Vérone, and he is named Chanoine cathedral of Florence. He would have been poisoned by Alexandre de Médicis, duke of Florence, to have refused to poison itself the cardinal young person Hippolyte de Médicis.
