Francesca Schiavone (born the June 23rd 1980 with Milan) is a player of Tennis Italy, Professionnel since 1998 on the circuit WTA.

It was also twice quarter of finalist in Grand Slam, 2001 with Roland-Garros and in 2003 with the US Open, respectively beaten by Martina Hingis and Jennifer Capriati.
Highly skilled player of double, it gained six tournaments to date, of which the Coupe of the Kremlin in 2006 at the sides of Květa Peschke.
It is incontestably in Fed Cup that Francesca Schiavone obtained its most remarkable results. In September 2006, with the Italian team, it created the surprise by tearing off the test vis-a-vis the favorite Belgium taken along by Justine Henin. In July of the following year with Castellaneta, it qualifies its country for the final thanks to its three victorious matches in half vis-a-vis the France.
