Frances McDormand is an American actress born the June 23rd 1957 with Chicago (Illinois).

It gained the Oscar of the best actress in 1997 for her role in Fargo . She is married with the realizer Joel Coen and played in several films of the Coen brothers, of which their first, Sang for blood .

Biography

Raised in Monessen (Pennsylvania), it was the third and more young person of the children adoptive by Vernon McDormand, Pasteur, and his Noreen wife.
