Frances Dafoe

Frances Dafoe (born the January 17th 1929 with Toronto, Ontario) is old a artistic skater Canadian. She patinated in couple with Norris Bowden, with which she was multiple Canadian champion in couple. Together, they also gained a money medal to the Olympic Games of 1956 and they were world champions in 1954 and 1955. They are the first Canadian skaters in couple to be itself deserved the championship of the world of figure skating.

Frances and Norris were seven times Canadian champion of dance on ice, waltz and Tenstep.

After the championships of the world of 1956, they were withdrawn from the competition. Frances was judge of international level and also worked as designer. It was named member of the Ordre of Canada in 1991. Moreover, it allowed with the Temple of was re-elected Canada Ice-skating with Norris Bowden in 1993.
