Frances Burke-Rock

Frances Ruth Burke-Rock (born the January 20th 1936 and deceased the June 3rd 2004) was a British aristocrat , mother of Diana, princess of Wales.

Frances Burke-Rock was the girl of Edward Burke-Rock, 4th baron Fermoy and of Ruth Burke-Rock, baroness Fermoy (born Ruth Gill).

Marriages

She married on June 1st 1954 with the Abbaye of Westminster Edward Spencer, Viscount Althorp, wire of Albert Spencer, 7th count Spencer and of Cynthia Spencer, countess Spencer (born Cynthia Hamilton). They had five children:

In April 1969, Frances and Edward Spencer divorce. Frances marries his/her lover Peter Shand-Kydd the May 2nd. Peter Shand-Kydd was the heir to a fortune aquise in the mediums to paper-painted by the father of this last. None of its two marriages was happy. It converts with the Catholicisme and passed the remainder of its life to be dealt with caritative works.
