The France took part in all the Olympic Games since their re-establishments in 1896, except those of 1904 in Saint-Louis.

History

After 2006, the France adds up 674 medals (210 gold medals, 220 medals of money and 244 bronze medals) in 44 participations in the Olympic Games (24 times at the plays of summer and 20 times at the plays of winter).

The France carried out its more beautiful harvests of medals as organizing country of Olympic Games ( 97 medals in 1900, 38 in 1924, 9 in 1968 and 1992). Except the exploits of the Olympic Games of summer of 1900, the plays of 1996 in Atlanta allowed the French delegation glaner 15 Olympic titles.
