The Agence France Treasure is a Service with national competence French charged to manage the Dette and the Trésorerie of the State. It was created the February 8th 2001, and is attached to the Head office of the Treasury and the Economic policy (DGTPE).

The AFT acquired a good reputation near the financial agents, making it possible the national Debt of France to be financed with low costs, i.e. with a low interest rate, approximately 4 - 5%.

Its managing director is Benoît Coeuré.
