It is in 1980 that Radio France with the authorization to create three local radios: Northern Frequency, Radio operator Mayenne and Melun FM. Daniel Hamelin, producer-organizer of France Inter and FR3 takes the responsability for the experimental station of Radio France in Mayenne with Laval, one of the very first experimental local stations, installation by the President Jacqueline Baudrier.
