France Info
France Info is a radio public of French information which was created on June 1st, 1987 by Roland Faure and Jerome Bellay. It belongs to the group Radio France. It was the first European radio to have a Web site, inaugurated in September 1995.
The current director of France Info is Patrick Roger.
It 24 hours a day has as a principle the diffusion of current events and information. With regular intervals (to 00 and 30 of the hour), a newspaper summarizes the topicality of the moment in seven minutes, develops principal information in the form of reports or of interviews. A recall of the titles of the topicality (to 15 and 45 of the hour) and (23 and 53 of the hour). The night a newspaper every 1/2 hour and between two most beautiful film musics and chronicles of the past day (Books, Health, Gardening,…)

The station also informs in a great number of fields of the daily life via literary chronicles , culinary, medical, patrimonial, Sport ives, stock exchange, on the European Union, etc
It is the first radio of information in France. Over the period of September 2004 to June 2005, it is classified fourth radio of France, with 9,7% of cumulated audience, that is to say approximately 4,9 million listeners (Médiamétrie, investigation médialocales near the 13 years and more, Monday Friday the 5th h-24h). She is also judged like the most credible radio (barometer Sofres for the Point and the Cross in January 2004), ex-æquo with France Inter and RTL.
The direction of the station, ensured since September 2002 by Michel Polacco this one is assisted of Jean-Christophe Ogier (director-assistant) and of Frederic Wittner (directing of the drafting). Michel Polacco since became director near the president of Radio France, responsible for the futurology. Since April 2nd, 2007 it is Patrick Roger which took the reindeers of the station with Philippe Chaffanjon (Assistant editor, director of the drafting), Jean-Gerard Robichez (Vice-president, in charge of management), Francis Tyskiewicz (Operations manager near the director) and Bruno Denaes (General secretary)
France Info is a radio of continuous information which must be reactive and, for that, it is based on a network of permanent special correspondents and correspondents whom it shares with France Inter and RFI:
