France 98 is an association rested by the French footballers world champions in 1998. It organizes matches of benevolence for great causes.
Association is chaired by Didier Deschamps. At the time of her exits, the team is pulled by Aimé Jacquet. The players are primarily those which took part in the adventures of the World cup 1998 and with the Euro 2000.

November 4th, 2002 in Nimes, organized by Laurent Blanc, with the profit of the victims of the floods in the South-east of France in September 2002, against the Olympic of Marseilles: defeat 1-4.

October 6th, 2003 in Marseilles, organized by Zinedine Zidane, with the profit of the victims of an earthquake in Algeria and those of fire in the South-east of France: against the Olympic of Marseilles: tie 1-1.
Third match
November 16th, 2003 in Bordeaux, organized by Bixente Lizarazu, for the shipwreck of the Prestige, against the Of Gironde of Bordeaux: defeat 1-4.
Fourth match
May 30th, 2005 in Toulouse, organized by Fabien Barthez, for the victims of the catastrophe of factory AZF to Toulouse on September 21st, 2001, against Toulouse FC: defeat 1-2.
Match envisaged
July 12th, 2008 in Saint-Denis, to celebrate the tenth birthday of the French victory (see: Football game France - Brazil (1998)), against the Brazilian team of 1998.
