France 3 West is one of the thirteen regional antennas of France 3, emitting on the areas Brittany and Pays of the Loire, and based with Rennes.
History of the chain
February 2nd
1964 is created the center of television news of rtf to
Rennes.
TV-Brittany was born and is diffused on the second channel. A second center of topicality is created with
Nantes and diffuses a tv news simultaneously with the Breton newspaper.
The first emissions in Breton Langue are diffused starting from 1971.
Following the bursting of ORTF, TV-Brittany becomes FR3 Western on January 6th 1975 and the regional programs pass from the second to the third chain.
Starting from September 5th 1983, the regional program is diffused in evening of 17:00 to 19:55 and publicity on the regional antenna is authorized by the High ranking authority of the audio-visual communication in 1984. Regional information is disseminated the every day of 19:10 to 19:30 within the framework of the 19/20 as of 1990.
Following the creation of France Television on September 7th 1992, FR3 Western becomes France 3 Western .
France 3 West is divided into 2 sous-régionales antennas: France 3 Brittany and France 3 Pays-de-la-Loire.

- It is best the morning : emission of councils and service presented each morning in week to 10:50 since September 18th, 2006, presented by Sylvie Denis and Eric Guen.
- Red Year Amzer : political magazine and of company into Breton diffused every Sunday with 11:25.
- Te ha Me (of You with Me): discussion into Breton with a guest carried out by Goulwena Year Henaff on a tone intimist which gradually makes it possible to discover the guest. Diffused Sunday with 12:10.
- Mouchig-Dall , magazine for the children, diffused every Wednesday morning, presented by Goulwena Year Henaff and Riwal Kermarec
- Digor DIN : cultural magazine into Breton on Brittany, diffused every saturday morning with 10:30, presented by rear Corinne Mero, chronicler music: Bernez Quillien .
- the Western investigation : inquire into a fact of topicality, of company, a regional idiosyncracy, diffused the first and third Saturdays of the month.
