France-Germany in Rugby with XV
October 14th, 1900, an Olympic French selection built with players of the French Stage and Racing club of France had already overcome the German club of the FC Frankfurt (today football club of the FSV Frankfurt) by 27 to 17, at the time of the second Olympiads organized in Paris.
Nevertheless, the first test between the two nations takes place in 1927. They will clash 15 times in 12 years and clashed never again since. The matches took place in quasi alternation between the two countries (except in 1936). France gained 13 tests, losing only the first over the German ground in 1927, and the last but one last test. From 1932 to 1935 the German meeting will only be proposed to the XV of France on the international scene, following its exclusion of the Tournament.
