Francard (of its true name Picardy Franck) is a draftsman of Cartoon.

Born the September 24th 1966, in France.

Reached of a deep deafness, Francard manages to acquire the oral language during its years of education in schools specialized for deaf persons and to follow secondary studies.

In Rouen, he attends the school of the Art schools.

He goes up to Paris in 1986 he enters to the school of Applied arts Olivier de Serres to Paris. He obtains a BTS in architecture of interior in 1989.

In 1988-1989, Francard assists Khrist Mirror for the animation of a workshop data base with the Forum of the Markets.

In 1989-1990, it follows the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the Art schools in parallel, and the workshop of data base of the Duperré school.

In 1990 with the Living room of Angouleme, where it exposes some boards, it meets Patrick Giordano which proposes to him to draw Jeepster… which the 1st album leaves to Dargaud in 1992
