Any political history of the Franc-Lyonese is that of the defense of these privileges, that monarchy tries to begin again at the 18th century, by the action of its Intendant S.At the time of the organization of France in departments, in 1789, the Franc-Lyonese is separate between the departments of the the Rhone-and-Loire and the Ain.
