François Rene Charles Treton de Vaujuas (1761 - May 1788, Vanikoro), French navigator, member of the Forwarding of Lapérouse (1785 - May 1788)

Origin

He is the son of François Treton de Vaujuas, and Marguerite the Brother of the Houses. His/her brother, Guillaume-François was one of the victims of the Débarquement of the emigrants with Quiberon. Another brother Jacques, beginner of the Order of Saint-Lazare when he emigrated, married with Emilie-Charlotte de Langan of Boisfévrier, is the ancestor of the branch of Treton de Vaujuas-Langan, present in Mayenne as from the 19th century.

Biography

He is sign of vessel then Major de Vaisseau the April 14th 1788.

He belongs to the naval officers proposed with Louis XVI by the count of Perugia. He was very estimated of the count of Perugia which gave it in one of its reports/ratios as the most accomplished naval officer that I met since I serve .
