François Remetter , born the August 8th 1928 with Strasbourg, is a player of Football French.
Transferred to the Thillot in the Vosges, he then knows his first selection in national team with the military team of France. He gains the championship of the military world in 1947 by disputing the final with Colombes in front of 60.000 spectators. He becomes then the goalkeeper of the team of France Amateurs.
Transferred to FC Metz in 1950 when it finds its Emile trainer Veining, François Remetter is selected for the first time in team of France has in 1953. The " voltigeur" Remetter passes then to Sochaux then to Bordeaux, with which it evolves/moves in D2.
Remetter takes part in the World cups 1954 and 1958 with the team of France. At the time of the world Swedish, Remetter disputes two matches against the Paraguay and the Yugoslavia.
Remetter is selected for the last time in team of France in 1959. It continues its career during ten years in Limoges, Le Havre, the RC Strasbourg and at Pierrots Vauban (Strasbourg).
