François Raguenet

François Raguenet , born towards 1660 with Rouen and died in 1722, is a literary man French.

Tutor of the nephews of the cardinal of Bubble, the Abbé Raguenet wrote with his request a biography of the Viscount of Turenne.

By its voyages, it acquired a good knowledge of the Italian music. Its writings on the musical life in Italy started a quarrel between French and Italian music in particular with its compatriot Jean-Laurent the Stag of Viéville.
