François Raffinot
François Raffinot is a Chorégraphe French born on January 1st 1953 with Paris.
Parallel to studies of philosophy, it follows courses of ballet dancing, then of Contemporary dance, in particular with Susan Buirge. He dances with the Théâtre of Silence of Brigitte Lefèvre and in the company of Felix Blaska. In 1977, in meeting Dominique Bagouet and Francine Lancelot. Consequently it is directed towards the study of the dances of and takes part in the foundation of the company “Laugh and Danceries” that it codirige of 1984 with 1989.
In 1990, it founds its own company, “Barocco”, which becomes national choreographic Center Havre - High-Normandy (1993 - 1998). Of 1999 with 2001, it directs the choreographic Department of IRCAM.
